Our current position: this website does not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. You will therefore not see an “accept all” banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device when you visit a website. Similar technologies can also store or access information on a device. Some are needed for a site to work securely; others measure behaviour or support advertising.
Technology used by this site
SSC Assessments does not currently set non-essential cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural profiling or social-media tracking on this website.
Our website hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technical measures to deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse and maintain security. These are used only where essential to provide the service or protect it and do not require consent under the applicable exception.
Why there is no consent banner
A consent banner is required when a site wants to place non-essential cookies or use non-essential storage and access technologies. As we do not currently use those technologies, presenting accept and reject choices would be misleading. This notice keeps you informed without placing an unnecessary cookie simply to remember that you dismissed a banner.
If our use changes
If we introduce analytics, advertising or any other non-essential technology, we will update this notice and ask for valid consent before it is used. Rejecting non-essential technology will be as easy as accepting it.
Managing cookies
You can inspect, block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking essential technology may affect the security or operation of some websites. For questions about this notice, email scottconroy@sscassessments.co.uk.
